To my continued amusement, Paul Krugman is still using his Times blog to post class materials for his economics class at Princeton. In less amusing news, my attempt to read and make sense of these class notes confirm that I am not an economics student at Princeton.
Where is W?
Is anyone else a little surprised that Hank Paulson is apparently now running our country’s financial institutions? Don’t get me wrong — I prefer him to W — but shouldn’t our president be front and center as the economy melts down? His hiding reminds me of his reaction to Katrina: he ignored the issue until the media forced him to put in an appearance.
